About Us

History of the Company
TMCO was founded in 1979 as an Information Management consulting firm. The original focus was on project management processes, which when fully implemented were used by over 2,000 developers and business partners. That foundation continues to this day with TMCO having assisted many large organizations in the creation, operation and optimization of their project performance through practical, industry-accepted project management methodologies, tools and practices. These principles are applied to all of the services offered by TMCO.

Over the years, TMCO has grown to be recognized as an industry leader in its Consulting Services, having assisted numerous clients with assignments ranging from process reengineering to replacing and integrating major core applications.

In the mid-80’s, TMCO started an Infrastructure Services business practice to assist our clients with the integration of networks, hardware and systems software. Most recently, the challenges associated with data and systems security have been prominent and TMCO has been in the forefront, leading the way for a number of major clients’ in the wholesale replacement of legacy Firewall technologies with state-of-the-art systems and functionality.

As a natural outgrowth of our Consulting and Infrastructure Services, TMCO has undertaken many assignments as interim line managers, usually driven by major shifts in clients’ businesses, such as a merger or service delivery performance issues. This led TMCO to establish its Management Services practice. Over the past twenty years, TMCO has performed assignments ranging from the management of a single department to that of an entire Information Technology organization.
