At times, companies need transformation of their Information Technology organization, often as a result of a major merger, a significant change in the business, or perhaps because the Information Technology department has become outdated and non-responsive to the business. Often these situations require immediate corrective action. TMCO can provide the technology vision and leadership, together with the requisite management and technical skills to meet these challenges. TMCO’s approach is to assess the capability of the IT organization, and to use internal client staff to the extent possible, supplemented with TMCO’s management staff, disciplines, and processes, as required to meet the needs of the business. During the term of the contract, TMCO will develop internal staff, recruit new staff as required, and at the conclusion of the contract, leave a fully functioning Information Technology organization. This is normally accomplished in less than half the time and at a significantly lower cost than with a typical outsourcer.
