Network Engagements
Deployment of one of the largest network migrations, from 3Com to CISCO, on behalf of a large national bank located on the West Coast, with branches located throughout the US and Canada. The project cost was in the 10’s of millions with a planned implementation of 18 months. The project was completed in less than 16 months.
Migration from AT&T to MCI for one of the largest banks in the U.S. TMCO performed as an agent for the customer by providing overall project management, including liaison between the carriers and the customer. The network, with over 10,000 data locations and 200,000+ voice circuits, was migrated in less than a year.
TMCO staffs have managed consolidations of Local Carrier traffic to Bypass Facilities on behalf of customers such as Coca-Cola Enterprises, DIMAC, MBS/Multimode and Palm Coast Data.
TMCO also performed design and engineering for replacement networks – exploiting circuit-switched, packet-switched and broadband facilities, utilizing optical, under-sea cable, VSAT and RF-bypass for Bank of America (Asia), Coca Cola Enterprises and DIMAC.
Security Engagements
Security System Deployments: TMCO has been on the forefront of data security system deployments for our customers, using such technologies as Cisco/Pix, Virtual Firewalls and discrete Firewalls. We are one of the recognized experts for the implementation of the Cisco architecture, having performed one of the largest deployments of that technology in the world. Our clients include some of the largest banks, as well as Cisco account teams.
Enterprise Data Security: TMCO has been a leader in assisting customers in the deployment of data-protection systems for both database systems and applications. TMCO performed one of the largest deployments of systems from Ingrian, Forte and NeoScale. This was a multi-year effort for a West Coast bank, featuring well over 7,500 critical production databases.
Security Assessments: TMCO has been a leader in the vendor security assessment process. TMCO lead an engagement team of over 25 resources to create and execute the review of the first 150 major vendors for a large West Coast-based bank.
Data Center Engagements
TMCO has designed and participated in the construction management of more than 20 data centers (ranging from 40,000 to 200,000 ft2 ) around the world during the past 25 years. Clients include Bank of America, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Fireman Fund, MeraBank, and PSI Systems. The largest data centers were built in Hong Kong and Singapore for Bank of America (Asia Division) to accommodate the use of common systems in support of their Pacific Rim customers. The processes from thirteen countries were migrated to these centers over a two-year period.
